Large furniture items are shipped to you FREE via Flat Rate Freight.

Items weighing less than 150 lbs. are shipped to you FREE via UPS and/or FedEx.

We normally ship only within the lower 48 contiguous states. If you are outside our normal shipping area, you may wish to contact a freight forwarder.  We will be happy to ship to the freight forwarder of your choice, who is located within our normal shipping area.


Once your order is placed, you may cancel for any reason within 24 hours.  We submit the order to the manufacturer as soon as the 24 hour cancellation period has expired.

Please keep in mind that once your furniture has been ordered from the manufacturer and the order is being processed, there are NO cancellations.

Once the warehouse receives your order, we (and thus, the customer) become financially obligated to purchase the merchandise; hence we cannot accept cancellations after the 24 hour window has passed.

If you refuse delivery of an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where round trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Any other costs incurred by Essence Home Decor as a result of any cancellation or return will be deducted from your refund.

Our merchant provider charges a non-refundable fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.


In case of return, please keep all shipping boxes, as any returned items will need to be in the original packaging to protect them during the return shipping.

Returned items which have been special ordered from the furniture manufacturer may be subject to a restocking fee, and in some cases, may not be able to be returned, if the items have been used and/or damaged by the customer.

Any returned items must be unused, unassembled and in the original packaging as when they were received.

Since our products are offered with FREE shipping, please be aware that if you choose to return one of these products the actual round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.


Upon delivery of your large furniture items, check each item carefully BEFORE signing for your delivery.

Any items which may have been damaged in shipping will, of course, be repaired or replaced at no cost to you.

Please note any damage on the delivery order and take a picture of the noted damage. 

The pictures will need to be submitted to the manufacturer along with the damage claim.  Please contact us within 72 hours.  We will ask that you forward the pictures so we can file the claim with the manufacturer for a replacement.

If you decide to return something for any other reason, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
